Motorcycles

I have always been interested in Motorcycles

When I was growing up back in the late 70’s and early 80’s my father owned various motorcycles and I suspect that is where my interest started. He was always a GoldWing man but he also had a few other rides along the way.

My first motorcycle was a YZ80 that my father purchased.

he also purchase a yz100 that was at first too big for me.

Of course they didn’t look as nice as those in the pictures. I think he paid $300 for the pair so they were pretty beat up but they worked and that is all I cared about. My brother and I spent hours and hours riding these motorcycles at the dirt hills/spare lots around the neighborhood and at Lark Sand dunes when Dad would load the motorcycles on the trailer (YZ80 for me, YZ100 for my brother, and the XL500 for Dad) and take us out for the day to ride and explore the areas around the Oquirrh Mountains.

We also had adventures riding in Moab with our extended family on the Slickrock trail and a few other places.

Here are a few of the other motorcycles I had between the time I was about 8-21 years old

I also drove various GoldWing GL1100 and GL1200 Motorcycles that my Dad acquired over the years but they were never really “mine” so they don’t count as much 🙂

Currently my stable consists of the following motorcycles:

2009 BMW R1200GS Adventure

gs-adventure

2002 Honda GoldWing GL1800 Aspencade

2002-goldwing

1985 Honda XR600R

Motorcycles are in my blood. I doubt that I will ever stop riding.
